I have a strong belief that we have within us the tools we need to live the life we want, we have within us the strength to heal. There are moments in life which we become stuck. In those places seeking help is a courageous solution. Connecting with another individual is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves.

I lived through my greatest fear; the death of my oldest son. Through the navigation of grief, I have come out with a deeper love, an unshakeable faith, a greater awareness of self and a sense of peace.

I work primarily using a solution-focused person-centered approach which encompasses the following modalities: Trauma Focused-CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), EMDR trained, DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), and Mindfulness Techniques.

Additionally, I believe in the power of Eco and Art Therapy. The act of getting outside in and of itself is healing. Creative expressions with art, music and movement allow for a powerful shift and processing of the internal work to become externalized.

I am on the board of SeaStr PNW, (promoting opportunities for sections of society including women, BIPOC & LGBTQIA to engage with each other and their community through water related activities and the Maritime Industry) I am a regional facilitator on the Washington Coast for Waves of Grief. (We aim to foster a sense of community, connection and comfort while creating new meaningful experiences in integrated grief in at the ocean’s shores.)

I am a passionate advocate for cancer research and will fight tirelessly to reduce the stigma of mental health illnesses.

I live in Washington State with my family. We are avid nature lovers exploring all the wonders of the PNW and beyond.
