“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” - Anais Nin

Ever since I was a young girl I have been drawn to nature and it’s healing benefits. Nature has a way of revealing what matters most in life. I love the act of sharing nature in community- As Bell Hooks so beautifully put, “Rarely if ever are any of us healed in isolation”. My work as a Mental Health Therapist allows me the opportunity to commune with my clients in nature. I guide adolescent males in Adventure Therapy and regularly facilitate Surf Therapy for grief. In my private practice I work with my clients to identify a life worth living and cultivate a sense of joy in their lives. I have facilitated Women’s wellness retreats in Mexico with plans for more such events. I am a passionate advocate for cancer research and have participated in 20 plus fundraising events: marathons, triathlons and century endurance events to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. I am the mother of sons and a lover of life.

TESTIMONIALS:

We sought out individual therapy for our daughter to help her work through her trauma and anxiety and family therapy to have help working through the rift that had developed over time with our daughter.  We hoped to understand what her boundaries were and why she has them and to work through misunderstandings.  Stephanie was very helpful on holding space and steering the way for these difficult conversations and for helping to create clarity.  She created a safe place and was very grounded and committed to helping our daughter feel like she had an advocate.”- Mom of adolescent client

“I owe Stephanie gratitude for so much more than her art therapy. She literally held my hand as I nervously explored the deep, blue waters of the sea for the first time. As I let go of my childhood fears and stopped letting my past experiences define me. For that, I will be forever changed and forever grateful.” -Gigi

“Stephanie was a guiding light for me when I was in a dark period of my life. I will always have a place in my heart for her and she will always be a part of my journey to a loving happy life. Stephanie showed me that I can live the kind of life that is boundless and free and kick started my journey of growth.” -Endurance athlete and professional Body builder Michelle
